AGBO has joined as a producer on the upcoming Lionsgate\/Millennium Media film \u201cJohn Rambo,\u201d an origin-story prequel to the 1980s \u201cRambo\u201d action series that starred Sylvester Stallone, with founders Joe and Anthony Russo serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n
Noah Centineo is in final talks to star in the film, which will follow John Rambo\u2019s experiences during the Vietnam War that shaped him into a warrior. Finnish filmmaker\u00a0Jalmari Helander\u00a0(\u201cSisu\u201d) will direct the movie from a screenplay by\u00a0Rory Haines\u00a0and\u00a0Sohrab Noshirvani (\u201cBlack Adam\u201d).<\/p>\n
Angela Russo-Otstot\u00a0and\u00a0Michael Disco\u00a0will produce for\u00a0AGBO, alongside\u00a0Kevin King Templeton,\u00a0Les Weldon and\u00a0Jonathan Yunger\u00a0for\u00a0Millennium Media.<\/p>\n
Lionsgate\u00a0recently acquired global distribution rights to the film and is launching international sales this month at AFM.<\/p>\n
