Meghan Markle<\/a> has made a shock return to Hollywood<\/a>, filming the movie Close Personal Friends in Pasadena, LA, playing herself on the set at Amazon MGM Studios. The Duchess of Sussex<\/a> is said to be filming alongside Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid \u2014 son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid \u2014 and Brit Henry Golding in Close Personal Friends.<\/p>\n According to sources, the duchess has been “swamped with offers” after quitting acting eight years ago to marry into the Royal Family. Meghan’s husband, the Duke of Sussex is said to be hugely supportive of the her move.<\/p>\n A studio source told The Sun<\/a>: “This is a massive moment for Meghan and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “She has been swamped with offers but this one felt right. It is Meghan\u2019s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set.<\/p>\n “Everyone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement. Prince Harry<\/a> is, of course, really supportive and quite simply wants Meghan to do whatever brings her joy.”<\/p>\n Meghan has previously opened up about whether she misses acting. She spoke on Emma Grede’s podcast in the summer.<\/p>\n And said that she \u201csometimes\u201d misses it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Duchess explained: \u201cBut you know what, actually, having a large team, being back on set with With Love, Meghan was great, because I realised how much I missed my crew. I love being around a crew.”<\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex starred as Rachel Zane in seven seasons<\/a> of the hugely successful Netflix<\/a> show which ran from 2011 to 2019.<\/p>\n
