But the “Glinda” actress, 32, already has her sights set on future projects once her highly anticipated sequel finally drops.<\/p>\n In a new interview with The New York Times<\/a>, the pop superstar hinted at a mystery project, in addition to her upcoming appearance in American Horror Story. Grande “teased something stage-related coming up soon,” according to The Times \u2014 which is thrilling news for fans who first saw her on Broadway in the acclaimed musical 13.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not on Broadway, but it\u2019s something that I\u2019m very excited about and inspired by,\u201d the Oscar-nominated actress told the newspaper in an interview article published Wednesday, Nov. 5.<\/p>\n It’s clear that acting is keeping her busy, though Grande made clear in the Times interview that she hasn’t lost sight of that other little passion of hers.<\/p>\n \u201cOf course, music will be in my life forever,\u201d she said. \u201cI have to say that for my fans who are reading this who are going to have a heart attack.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in her new interview, Grande noted that she utilized the famed Stella Adler<\/strong> acting technique<\/a>, “using it to meticulously plot out her character\u2019s inner life, childhood and traumas,” according to The Times.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is my first time talking about it,\u201d Grande told the newspaper. \u201cI just wanted to design this person inside and out, even if none of it was necessary for a scene, so that I could reference it for myself and leave my own stuff at home. So every time something had to trigger Glinda, it was a Glinda trigger that I used, not an Ariana one.\u201d<\/p>\n The “7 Rings” singer made headlines earlier this week when she sadly had to miss the premiere of Wicked: For Good<\/a> in Brazil due to flight issues.
