MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) \u2014 If you\u2019re a Netflix subscriber and looking for something to watch, a new show featuring a former Mountaineer may pique your interest!<\/p>\n

West Virginia University graduate Brittany Christoff competed in the new season of Netflix\u2019s show \u201cSquid Game: The Challenge,\u201d donning the number 347 as she competed in challenges to try and win a grand prize of $4.56 million.<\/p>\n

As a former student at WVU, she graduated with a degree in marketing and said that she looks back at her time at WVU very positively.<\/p>\n

\u201cI absolutely love WVU,\u201d Christoff said. \u201cI often reminisce on my college days.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christoff said that she had the opportunity to be on the show after watching the first season, which inspired her to sign up and get accepted to be on the next one. She said that her first day on set reminded her of her first days at WVU.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing to WVU, I went from like a couple hundred kids to thousands of kids. So it\u2019s just like, you\u2019re thrown into a new environment, so it\u2019s kind of weird,\u201d Christoff said. \u201cI knew going into the game that it was going to be more of a mental game. And a lot of different personalities are in a warehouse together and people react to things differently. People were stressed out, people were excited, people wanted their ten seconds of fame.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first episode of the show is out now, with more episodes coming out weekly. Christoff shared that she is excited to see how it goes and watch herself compete.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to have people I know, actually see what I did,\u201d Christoff said.<\/p>\n

With only one episode out, it is unclear who the winner will be, but Christoff ended her interview with 12 News by saying that she loves game shows and hopes to compete in more of them.<\/p>\n
