Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong><\/a> says she didn\u2019t use an intimacy coordinator for her sex scenes with Die My Love<\/i> costar Robert Pattinson<\/strong><\/a> because he isn\u2019t \u201cpervy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Oscar winner, 35, got candid during her appearance on the Wednesday, November 5, edition of the \u201cLas Culturistas<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast, explaining that Pattinson, 39, made her feel comfortable while filming the drama, which hits theaters on Friday, November 7.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe did not have [an intimacy coordinator], or maybe we did but we didn\u2019t really,\u201d Lawrence told cohosts Bowen Yang<\/strong> and Matt Rogers<\/strong>. \u201cI felt really safe with Rob. He is not pervy and very in love with [his partner] Suki Waterhouse<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She said that she and Pattinson spent lots of time on set just \u201ctalking about our kids and relationships.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She noted, \u201c<\/span>\u2018There was never any weird like, \u2018Does he think I like him?\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cIf there was a little bit of that I would probably have an intimacy coordinator. A lot of male actors get offended if you don\u2019t want to f*** them, and then the punishment starts. He was not like that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In Die My Love<\/i>, Lawrence and Pattinson portray Grace and Jackson, a couple who leave New York City and move to rural Montana. They become parents and Grace mentally unravels while navigating motherhood in an isolated environment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lawrence, whose performance has garnered positive reviews, was pregnant with her second child when she filmed the intensely dramatic role, which required her to be nude at times.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care about nudity. I\u2019m not sensitive about it,\u201d she told Vulture<\/i><\/span><\/a> during a Q&A earlier this week, musing, \u201cI think being pregnant took a lot of vanity anxiety away. Before [filming her 2023 comedy] No Hard Feelings<\/i>, I was dieting and not eating carbs and working out. I was pregnant [for Die My Love<\/i>]. Like, what was I gonna do? Not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Haney previously opened up to Us Weekly about how filming steamy scenes between actors goes down on set. Contrary to what some fans may think, Haney said that it [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lawrence recalled the filmmakers \u201csending over a close-up of cellulite and being like, \u2018Do you want us to touch this up?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018No. That\u2019s an a**.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the Hunger Games<\/i> star \u2014\u00a0known for her blunt honesty \u2014\u00a0opened up about her own postpartum struggle<\/span><\/a> in an interview with the New York Times<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHaving kids is sacrificial. It\u2019s gratifying and it\u2019s amazing and rewarding, but it\u2019s not not sacrificial,\u201d the actress said in the Times<\/i>\u2019 \u201cThe Interview\u201d podcast. \u201cI\u2019d never had to say no to something before that I really wanted to do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She confessed that it felt \u201cvain and selfish\u201d to focus on her career with a family at home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy kids and my family are more important, obviously, but they feel like an equal part of me,\u201d she said. \u201cI would not be complete if I couldn\u2019t make movies. I just wouldn\u2019t.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Lawrence married Cooke Maroney<\/strong>, an art dealer, in October 2019. They welcomed son Cy in February 2022 and another baby earlier this year. The pair have not publicly shared details about their second child, but Lawrence did reveal to the Times<\/i> that she struggled with \u201canxiety\u201d following the birth.<\/span><\/p>\n
