Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson<\/a> are dueling matriarchs in the Wild West in Netflix\u2019s<\/a> new drama series, The Abandons<\/em>.<\/p>\n Created and executive produced by Kurt Sutter, the series follows two families who are the extreme opposites of each other, but have the same interest in achieving the American dream.<\/p>\n According to the official description:<\/p>\n Washington Territory \u2013 1854 \u2013 The matriarchs of two very different families \u2014 one of wealth and privilege bound by blood, the other a found family of orphans and outcasts bound by love and necessity \u2014 find their fates linked by two crimes, an awful secret, a star-crossed love, and a piece of land with silver underneath. The collision echoes the American struggle of the haves and have-nots, in a place just beyond the reach of justice.<\/em><\/p>\n The cast also includes Nick Robinson, Diana Silvers, Lamar Johnson, Natalia del Riego, Lucas Till, Aisling Franciosi, Toby Hemingway, Michael Greyeyes, Ryan Hurst, Katelyn Wells, Clayton Cardenas, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers, Br\u00edan F.
