Online<\/a><\/p>\n There are stranger things than <\/span>David Harbour<\/strong>\u2019s latest press tour.<\/span><\/p>\n New details have come to light on why the <\/span>Thunderbolts*<\/span><\/em> star was not featured alongside costars <\/span>Millie Bobby Brown<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Finn Wolfhard<\/strong>, <\/span>Gaten Matarazzo<\/strong>, <\/span>Caleb McLaughlin<\/strong>, <\/span>Noah Schnapp<\/strong> and <\/span>Sadie Sink<\/strong> last month when <\/span>they were promoting<\/span><\/span> the final season of Netflix\u2019s <\/span>Stranger Things<\/span><\/em><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n As it turns out, David was never confirmed for the interview junket, so he actually didn\u2019t pull out of any appearances, a source with knowledge told E! News. Instead, the 50-year-old is currently in production on <\/span>Courteney Cox<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s new movie <\/span>Evil Genius<\/span><\/em>, according to <\/span>Deadline<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Despite his busyness last month, David has been cleared for and is expected to attend <\/span>Stranger Things<\/span><\/em>\u2019 season five premiere in Los Angeles Nov. 6, the insider shared.<\/span><\/p>\n E! News did not receive comment from Netflix when asked about David\u2019s absence from the press tour. E! News has reached out to a rep for David for comment and has not yet heard back. <\/span><\/p>\n Though he\u2019s been out of the public eye, David <\/span>made headlines<\/span><\/a> last month when his estranged wife <\/span>Lily Allen<\/strong> released her new album <\/span>West End Girl<\/span><\/em>, which <\/span>alludes to infidelity<\/span><\/a> on David\u2019s part as one of the reasons for the downfall of their four-year marriage. <\/span><\/p>\n More from E! Online<\/strong><\/p>\n In one track titled \u201cRuminating,\u201d the Grammy nominee sings about being unable to “shake the image” of her husband’s mistress naked. In another called “Sleepwalking,” she says her partner lets her believe that her cheating paranoia is all in her head and has “nothing to do with them girls in your bed.”<\/span><\/p>\n While David has yet to speak publicly on Lily\u2019s new album, he has discussed his mindset heading into the conclusion of the show that made him an \u201cinternational star.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
