Kelsea Ballerini<\/a> is releasing her eagerly awaited new single tonight (Friday, November 7th), with the \u2018HEARTFIRST\u2019 hitmaker officially kicking off her next musical chapter. <\/p>\n

The latest track, \u2018I Sit in Parks\u2019, will serve as a sneak preview ahead of Ballerini’s new EP, Mount Pleasant<\/em>. The Knoxville native has been teasing a major announcement throughout the week<\/a>, sprinkling a range of park-themed imagery across socials.<\/p>\n

After a cryptic clip of the country chart-topper swinging in a field, alongside the caption, \u201cI sit in parks\u201d, we’ve now got confirmation this is the name of Ballerini’s new single. <\/p>\n

Excitingly, we’re getting more than just a standalone song, with Ballerini’s Mount Pleasant<\/em> EP dropping on Friday, November 14th. It’ll feature six songs, including the lead single, \u2018I Sit in Parks\u2019, as well as a selection of brand new tracks, \u2018People Pleaser\u2019, \u2018Emerald City\u2019, \u2018587\u2019, \u2018The Revisionist\u2019 and \u2018Check On Your Friends\u2019. <\/p>\n

Given how enchanting Ballerini’s two previous records, PATTERNS<\/em> and Rolling Up The Welcome Mat (For Good)<\/em> have been, we can’t wait to hear this latest body of work. <\/p>\n

We’re also keeping our fingers crossed that Ballerini eventually expands Mount Pleasant<\/em> into a full-length studio album, which will hopefully see the arrival of the \u2018half of my hometown\u2019 singer-songwriter’s long-awaited unreleased song, \u2019The Garden\u2019. <\/p>\n
