A familiar face stepped in for Mark Consuelos<\/a> on the Thursday, November 6, episode of Live With Kelly and Mark<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The ABC talk show\u2019s announcer, D\u00e9j\u00e0 Vu, served as Kelly Ripa<\/a>\u2018s cohost Thursday morning, as well as continued her regular role as the series\u2019 emcee. \u200b\u200b\u201dI loved hearing you announce us, \u2019cause I looked at D\u00e9j\u00e0 backstage and I go, \u2018But if you\u2019re here, who\u2019s gonna announce us?’\u201d Ripa told viewers at the top of the episode. \u201cAnd she goes, \u2018Maybe it\u2019s gonna be me.’\u201d<\/p>\n D\u00e9j\u00e0 Vu (real name D\u00e9j\u00e0 Parker) noted that the show had her serving \u201cdouble duty\u201d that day. \u201cGelman, I need double the money,\u201d she joked to executive producer Michael Gelman<\/a>. Ripa agreed with Parker\u2019s comment, stating, \u201cYes, that\u2019s an excellent point.\u201d<\/p>\n Ripa teased the reason for Consuelos\u2019s absence while discussing a report claiming the No. 1 essential item people need while traveling is a pen. \u201cMark has been traveling like crazy,\u201d she told viewers, but didn\u2019t share further details about her husband\u2019s show break.<\/p>\n During the episode, Parker played \u201cStump Mark\u201d in place of Consuelos. \u201cAre you drunk with power?\u201d Ripa asked, to which Parker replied, \u201cI am drunk with power.\u201d<\/p>\n During the segment, Parker managed to correctly guess which of a contestant\u2019s two statements was true and which was false. \u201cMark is very proud of you, and I am very disappointed,\u201d Ripa quipped.<\/p>\n
