Erika Slezak<\/a> will wrap up her visit as General Hospital<\/a><\/em>\u2018s Veronica \u201cRonnie\u201d Bard on November 6, when Monica\u2019s long-lost sibling<\/a> returns to North Carolina.<\/p>\n Slezak, a six-time Daytime Emmy winner for her 41-year run as One Life to Live<\/a><\/em>\u2018s Victoria Lord Buchanan, hadn\u2019t acted on a soap since the Prospect Park reboot in 2013, but thoroughly enjoyed her three-week comeback. \u201cIt\u2019s been very, very nice,\u201d she told TV Insider before her first air date on September 26<\/a>. \u201cThe story and the character are so completely different. I was always Viki, confident and strong. This is a totally different character, and I\u2019m trying to find my way through it. It\u2019s working. I think they seem happy.\u201d<\/p>\n Her primary scene partner was Jane Elliot<\/a> (Tracy Quartermaine), who was a big draw for Slezak. \u201cI had met Jane many years ago,\u201d Slezak relays. \u201cShe came to One Life<\/em> to observe as a director or a producer, and I knew who she was. I went over and introduced myself, and we chatted a little bit. She\u2019s a wonderfully delightful lady. It is amazing that she can play so mean. When Frank [Valentini<\/a>, executive producer] said, \u2018You\u2019re going to be working a lot with Jane Elliot,\u2019 I went, \u2018Yes, I will do it, yes, because that would be such a treat to work with such a talented, terrific lady.\u2019 Jane is a master class in acting. Every time she steps on the set, she is remarkable. And when I finally got to work with her, it was wonderful, because I hadn\u2019t seen Genie since we were backstage at\u00a0The View<\/a><\/em>\u00a0[years ago]. She was wonderful, and again, so nice.\u201d<\/p>\n
