The hip-hop group released “The Package,” the new single from their 10th studio album, out Nov. 21<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n\tDe La Soul<\/a> will release Cabin in the Sky<\/em>, their first studio album in nine years, on Nov. 21. The new record is also their first since\u00a0the 2023 death<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0founding member David \u201cTrugoy the Dove\u201d Jolicoeur, one-third of the New York hip-hop institution.<\/p>\n \n\tTheir 10th LP will follow 2016\u2019s\u00a0And the Anonymous Nobody<\/em>, which earned a\u00a0Grammy nod for Best Rap Album. The new musical offering includes production by DJ Premier, Super Dave, Pete Rock and features Killer Mike, Yukimi from Little Dragon, Common, Nas and Black Thought. The LP\u2019s first single, \u201cThe Package,\u201d is out today.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cCabin in the Sky lives in that space between loss and light.
