\u201cLate Night<\/a>\u201d host Seth Meyers<\/a> mocked the Trump administration on Wednesday after Cincinnati<\/a> mayoral candidate Cory Bowman (R), JD Vance<\/a>\u2019s half-brother, lost to incumbent Aftab Pureval in a \u201cblowout.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers \u2014 who noted that it was \u201chard to find anything positive\u201d for the GOP to hang their hats on after Democratic<\/a> victories in several key races \u2014 said Bowman\u2019s loss occurred in \u201cdeep red\u201d Ohio and it \u201chit close to home\u201d for Vance, who endorsed<\/a> his relative back in May.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t even know he had a half-brother, this is like finding out Kristi Noem has a twin sister who ran for mayor of the Overlook Hotel,\u201d quipped Meyers in a nod to the fictional hotel in Stephen King\u2019s \u201cThe Shining.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He said it\u2019s \u201cnot that hard\u201d to tell the two apart, either.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cKristi\u2019s sister still has her dog,\u201d joked Meyers before a large groan from his audience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers added that he gave himself a pass to tell the joke, as his beloved dog, Frisbee, had<\/a><\/span> died<\/a> back in August. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Moments later, Meyers flipped to President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s post-election remarks where he declared that it wasn\u2019t \u201cexpected to be a victory\u201d for the GOP on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
