Kelsea Ballerini<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s latest era has arrived.<\/p>\n

The country star, 32, released her new song, \u201cI Sit in Parks,\u201d on Friday, November 7, after announcing a surprise EP that\u2019s dropping next week.<\/p>\n

The track features Ballerini ruminating over what her life could have been like if she had a traditional family life instead of being a famous musician.<\/p>\n

\u201cDad brought the picnic \/ Mom brought the sunscreen \/ Two kids are laughing and crying on red swings \/ We look about the same age \/ But we don\u2019t have same Saturdays,\u201d Ballerini sings, comparing herself to a mom of two within her age range.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKelsea Ballerini gave a shout-out to her antidepressant medication in her latest life update. The \u201cCowboys Cry Too\u201d singer, 32, took to Instagram on Tuesday, October 28, to share a photo dump that included a snap of her dog, Dibs, snaps of pumpkins being painted on a porch and Ballerini hugging Kenny Chesney at a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cDid I miss it \/ By now is it \/ A lucid dream, is it my fault \/ For chasing things a body clock \/ Doesn\u2019t wait for \/ I did the damn tour \/ It\u2019s what I wanted, what I got \/ I spun around and then I stopped \/ And wonder if I missed the mark,\u201d Ballerini continues.<\/p>\n

Later, the singer adds, \u201cI wonder if she wants my freedom \/ Like I want to be a mother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ballerini announced that a six-track EP titled Mount Pleasant<\/em> will drop Friday, November 14. Before the release of \u201cI Sit in Parks,\u201d some of the CMA Award winner\u2019s famous friends weighed in to share their excitement about the new music.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram Story post on Thursday, Ballerini revealed that \u201cI Sit in Parks\u201d is the first track on Mount Pleasant<\/em>. The other five are as follows: \u201cPeople Pleaser,\u201d \u201cEmerald City,\u201d \u201c587,\u201d \u201cThe Revisionist\u201d and \u201cCheck on Your Friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ballerini has released plenty of new music this year, starting in March with the deluxe edition of her fifth studio album, Patterns<\/em>. Last month, she dropped Patterns (Stripped Sessions)<\/em>, which included acoustic versions of seven Patterns songs, including new takes on \u201cBaggage\u201d and \u201cSorry Mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI Sit in Parks\u201d is Ballerini\u2019s first brand-new song since her split<\/a> from Chase Stokes<\/strong> after two years of dating<\/a>. A rep for the \u201cPeter Pan\u201d singer confirmed the breakup to Us Weekly<\/em> in September.<\/p>\n

Neither Ballerini nor Stokes, 33, has publicly discussed the end of their relationship, but Ballerini joked last month that she\u2019s been leaning on antidepressants to get her through the days.<\/p>\n

(Lexapro is a prescription selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used to treat major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder.)<\/p>\n

Last month, Ballerini admitted in an Elle<\/em> interview that she was disappointed<\/a> when she left this year\u2019s Academy of Country Music Awards empty-handed. She had been nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year.<\/p>\n
