However, as his fans know, he\u2019s no stranger to the genre and played Cane Ashby on <i>The Young and the Restless<\/i> from 2007 to 2019 \u2014 and one very popular Port Charles face just so happened to play his mom on the CBS soap.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The actor posted a great pic alongside Genie Francis (Laura) after the duo was reunited on the ABC soap. \u201cReunited and it feels so good,\u201d he stated then went on to explain, \u201cGenie Francis \u2014 a true TV legend \u2014 was my TV mom on <i>The Young and the Restless<\/i>, and now I have the honor and fortune of working with her again on <i>General Hospital<\/i>. Only this time\u2026 maybe she\u2019s my nemesis?\u201d He then asked fans, \u201cWhat do you think \u2014 where\u2019s this storyline headed?\u201d As for the other face in the pic, Goddard addressed his castmate, \u201cAnd a huge shoutout to the best photo bomb I\u2019ve seen in ages.
