Fox News host Sean Hannity<\/strong> treated the audience to a Frank Sinatra<\/strong> sing-along to kick off Fox Nation\u2019s Patriot Awards on Wednesday, butchering the lyrics in hopes of chasing away his \u201ccommie Mamdani blues.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLoosen up,\u201d the Fox News primetime host told the black-tie room, before launching into his short rewrite of \u201cNew York, New York\u201d \u2014 his mocking jibe at the city\u2019s newly elected<\/a> Democratic mayor Zohran Mamdani<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to give you a 30-second version so I don\u2019t ruin the night for some of you that still live in New York City. But I\u2019m going to need your help because I can\u2019t sing to save my life,\u201d Hannity told the crowd.<\/p>\n The host planted the lyrics on giant screens behind him. Hannity promised a \u201csmall, little, itsy-bitsy sample,\u201d before adding: \u201cThis is what Sean Hannity does at 2 o\u2019clock in the morning and I wasn\u2019t even drinking.\u201d<\/p>\n The crowd obliged, singing along with the lyrics:<\/p>\n Start spreading the news, I\u2019m leaving today, no longer want to be a part of it, high taxed New York.
