Tom Cruise<\/span><\/strong> is getting out and about in the wake of his rumored breakup. The actor recently shared a snap of him at a screening of Glen Powell\u2019s<\/span><\/strong> new flick. In the caption, he shared his review of the movie \u2013 \u201ccrushed it\u201d \u2013 and revealed he\u2019d overindulged at the theater.<\/p>\n Tom and Glen have been pals since starring in 2022\u2019s Top Gun: Maverick. So, it made sense he stepped out to see Glen\u2019s new movie, The Running Man. The Mission: Impossible star shared a few snaps from the event on social media, including one of him and Glen.<\/p>\n In the caption, he gushed about the new release. He wrote: \u201cAnother great night out with my friends at the movies! You guys crushed it, congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat and ate way too much popcorn.\u201d<\/p>\n Clearly, the feeling is mutual. Last year, Glen spoke about the pair\u2019s friendship, telling E! News<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s the best. He\u2019s such a great friend and such a great mentor and it\u2019s been such a special part of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n He also revealed how working on Top Gun helped him prepare for another action movie. He said: \u201cMaking that movie together was one that changed my life. It really taught me a lot about how to make a big event movie and so many of those lessons on Top Gun were put into Twisters and it really benefitted.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair\u2019s Top Gun movie was a huge hit, pulling in $1.5 billion globally.
