Hayley Williams<\/a> is back with a new song, \u201cShowbiz.\u201d She\u2019s also teasing a forthcoming tour in support of her new album,\u00a0Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n The new track arrives as Ego<\/em> Death<\/em> receives a long-awaited physical release (pick up your copy here<\/a>). With crisp drums, a vocoder-assisted chorus, and sparkly synths, \u201cShowbiz\u201d is a more romantic indie pop offering from Williams. The song\u2019s sticky production, courtesy of Williams and Ego Death\u00a0<\/em>collaborator Daniel James, recalls the smooth, syncopated grooves of Phoenix \u2014 a fitting influence, as Williams sampled Phoenix\u2019s 2017 song \u201cFior di Latte\u201d on recent track \u201cLove Me Different.\u201d Stream \u201cShowbiz\u201d below.<\/p>\n Williams has yet to announce a formal tour in support of\u00a0Ego Death,\u00a0<\/em>but she appears to have one in the works: On the same website that Williams surprise-released the entirety of\u00a0Ego Death<\/em> on, Williams included a photo in the \u201ctrash\u201d folder that depicts a possible world tour routing written on a sheet of paper (as well as her dog, who is objectively cute). The cities listed include Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, Austin, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and several more North American cities, along with a handful of UK and European dates.<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n \u201cShowbiz\u201d follows new track \u201cGood Ol\u2019 Days\u201d and both tracks are included in physical releases of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party<\/em>.
