(Photo by Xavier Collin\/Image Press Agency\/Sipa USA)(Sipa via AP Images)<\/em><\/p>\n ABC abruptly cancelled Thursday\u2019s taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> due to a \u201cpersonal matter\u201d involving the host.<\/p>\n The show, which is usually taped in the afternoon and then aired during the late-night time slot, was set to feature actors David Duchovny <\/strong>and Joe Keery<\/strong>, as well as musical guest Madison Beer.<\/strong><\/p>\n Beer announced<\/a> on social media, \u201cDue to unforeseen circumstances, @jimmykimmellive needed to reschedule my performance that was originally scheduled to air tonight to a later date.\u201d<\/p>\n Although neither ABC nor Kimmel have given a reason for the cancellation, The Daily Mail<\/em> reported<\/a> that it was due to \u201ca personal matter\u201d involving the host.<\/p>\n A member of the \u201cKimmel Audience Team\u201d posted to reddit<\/a>, \u201cTonight\u2019s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em> has been postponed. Apologies for any inconvenience. Will will [sic] contact you to reschedule for a future taping.\u201d<\/p>\n ABC aired a repeat of the show\u2019s October 28 episode in its place.<\/p>\n Fans were particularly concerned since Kimmel\u2019s show was pulled from the air in September following the host\u2019s comments<\/a> about conservative activist Charlie Kirk\u2019s<\/strong> alleged killer Tyler Robinson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,\u201d Kimmel said.<\/p>\n Kimmel was reprimanded by Federal Communications Commission head Brendan Carr<\/strong>, prompting ABC\u2019s owner Disney to announce the show\u2019s suspension.<\/p>\n Kimmel returned to air on September 23.<\/p>\n The host announced on Tuesday that he had established a \u201cBig, Beautiful\u201d food bank in Los Angeles in the face of SNAP benefits ending due to the government shutdown.<\/p>\n The show\u2019s team wrote on social media<\/a>, \u201cCutting SNAP benefits creates uncertainty for American children, seniors, and families.
