Selling Sunset<\/em> is losing its star.<\/p>\n Chrishell Stause has decided to exit the hit Netflix show after nine seasons.<\/p>\n “I\u2019ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past,” she told Bustle<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Friday, Nov. 7. “I have to be honest \u2014 having come from nothing, it\u2019s really hard to turn something like this down.”<\/p>\n “I\u2019ve gotten to a place where I don\u2019t need the show financially. I\u2019m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it\u2019s no longer good for my mental health,” Stause added.<\/p>\n Stause previously hinted at her potential exit from the series in an interview with Variety<\/em><\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n “\u200bThe reunion was so brutal,” she told the outlet. “In that moment, I realized I will be done here going forward. I wish everyone the best, but this isn\u2019t the place for me. It felt a little bit like a dog pile.”<\/p>\n Some Selling Sunset<\/em> fans have sent messages to her on Instagram, sharing their feelings about her on the current season \u2014 and most of those messages haven’t been positive.<\/p>\n “Please stop trying to align with Chelsea\u2019s situation\u2026 The micro-aggressions directed at her in the workplace are horrible. But, you, demanding that your friend Emma choose between you or her boyfriend she loves? Then airing out her personal business for the world to hear because you\u2019re upset at her boyfriends political views? People can have different political perspectives and still maintain respectful relationships\u2026Completely out of line. I feel sorry for Emma, how you treat her is not that of a ‘concerned friend,'” one person commented<\/a> on Stause’s pinned Instagram post on Nov. 6.<\/p>\n “Please stop using your ‘victim card’ as you usually do, seemingly to gain popularity and pity. From the beginning, you have been consistently mean to almost everyone: Christine, Mary (who supported you during your divorce), Nicole (you claimed she used drugs), Sarah, Bre, and Emma (an old best friend whom you targeted on social media). Even your ex-husband, Justin, left you via text message to end the marriage. Get out of the show and seek therapy quickly. Do you have any values left?” someone else said<\/a>.<\/p>\n In her interview with Bustle<\/em>, Stause commented on the decision to edit out some things that would have “vindicated” her.<\/p>\n “I get it, they want to make a light show.
