The 56th International Film Festival of India has selected Rajkumar Periyasamy\u2019s Tamil-language war drama \u201cAmaran,\u201d starring Sivakarthikeyan, as the opening feature film for this year\u2019s Indian Panorama.<\/p>\n
The lineup has 25 feature films, 20 non-feature films, and five streaming series for the Best Web-Series Award.<\/p>\n

The jury, chaired by filmmaker-producer Bharatbala Ganapathy, selected five series from major streaming platforms.<\/p>\n Prime Video earned three nominations: Anand Tiwari\u2019s \u201cBandish Bandits\u201d Season 2, Avinash Arun Dhaware\u2019s \u201cPaatal Lok\u201d Season 2, and Bramma\u2019s \u201cSuzhal \u2013 The Vortex\u201d Season 2.
