The 38-year-old singer took to Instagram on Friday, November 7, and celebrated the release of her song, Mature<\/i>, with a beautiful message honouring her as an artist. <\/p>\n
The Inside Out<\/i> hitmaker shared a picture of the Lizzy McGuire<\/i> star holding up a heart-shaped cake, which read, \u201cYou\u2019re so Mature,\u201d alongside the caption.<\/p>\n
\u201cMature<\/i> is out today. It\u2019s the first song ya\u2019ll are hearing from an album my wife made over the last year and a half. Talk about an exercise in reclaiming what\u2019s yours, giving yourself the license to step into a voice your younger self didn\u2019t get to have, and doing it completely, unapologetically on your terms,\u201d Koma began.<\/p>\n
The record producer, who married Duff in 2019, continued, \u201cBa, I hope the world loves this song, loves your album, and gives you all the flowers you deserve – but I simultaneously don\u2019t really give a fu– what anyone thinks because we got to make something YOU love, that you think is rad, and we got to do it together – the rest is a bonus. Koma also shared the credits for the song, listing down all the names, along with himself, as he worked as the co-writer and co-producer. <\/p>\n
