After its inaugural series had the whole nation hooked<\/a>, fans are already beginning to question whether another season of The Celebrity Traitors<\/a> could be on the cards.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n For now, the BBC is staying tight-lipped about whether another star-studded cast could be heading off for a murder mystery holiday in reality TV\u2019s most famous castle, but all signs seem to indicate that the show will return in 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n In fact, a number of celebrities have already been rumoured to be taking part.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n While there are only a few names in the frame right now, here are the stars who\u2019ve so far been tipped for the next run of The Celebrity Traitors\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Ken McKay\/ITV\/Shutterstock<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n If you cast your mind back, there were a lot of rumours last year suggesting that comedy legend Bob Mortimer would be taking part in The Celebrity Traitors, with the man himself going as far as saying it was the \u201cthe only show of its kind on TV that I would agree to get involved with\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n While in the end, he proved not to be on the line-up, executive producer Sarah Fay recently told <\/span>Metro<\/span><\/a> last month: \u201cOf Bob wanted to do it next year, we would absolutely love it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n This is definitely a case of watch this space\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Towards the end of October, <\/span>The Sun<\/span><\/a> published an article claiming that Celebrity Traitors were already \u201cquietly approaching potential contestants\u201d for a new series, with Gavin & Stacey<\/a> creator Ruth Jones<\/a> said to be \u201cin talks to appear\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, an undisclosed \u201cinsider\u201d told the tabloid: \u201cRuth would only consider taking part on the proviso she would be a \u2018Faithful\u2019.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Sun reported<\/a> in the lead-up to season one that Traitors producers <\/span>were \u201cdoing everything they can\u201d to try and win over Danny Dyer<\/a> to get him to compete on the show.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Ultimately, he didn\u2019t end up taking part, but in the same article teasing Ruth\u2019s involvement, the tabloid once again listed Danny as a potential contestant.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201c<\/span>If the money\u2019s right, I might get involved in the next series,\u201d he also said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nBob Mortimer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n
