Happy’s Place<\/em> reunited Reba<\/em> co-stars Reba McEntire<\/strong> and Melissa Peterman<\/strong>, and the latter revealed which guest stars from their previous show she she wants to see on the NBC sitcom.<\/p>\n When asked about potential guest stars for the show, Peterman, 54, told Us Weekly<\/a><\/em>, \u201cI think those are the next steps.” She continued, \u201cI would love to get all of them in. It\u2019s a bar so people come and go. That could be very fun.\u201d<\/p>\n While nothing is set in stone, Peterman said she loves “the idea of getting those big, iconic guest stars” like they had on Reba<\/em>.<\/p>\n “We had Dolly [Parton]<\/strong>, we had James Denton<\/strong> and Patrick Fabian<\/strong>,\u201d the Baby Daddy alum listed. \u201cWe\u2019ve had so many great guest stars on the show. That would be really fun. Plus Kelly Clarkson<\/strong>, please<\/a>. That would be such a fun list to go down.\u201d<\/p>\n Peterman and McEntire, 70, starred on Reba<\/em> alongside Christopher Rich, JoAnna Garcia Swisher<\/strong> and Steve Howey<\/strong>, which aired from 2001 to 2007. The show followed a single mom, Reba (McEntire), on her journey to start over after her husband left her for another woman. In addition to seeking a fresh start, Reba also had to balance being the mother of three while her teen daughter (Garcia Swisher) was pregnant.<\/p>\n Nearly two decades after Reba ended, McEntire and Peterman reunited with former Reba<\/em> executive producer Kevin Abbott<\/strong> to work on Happy\u2019s Place. <\/em>The show follows Bobbie (McEntire) as she inherits her father\u2019s restaurant and becomes business partners with her long-lost half-sister (Belissa Escobedo<\/strong>).<\/p>\n Peterman made her debut in season 1 as bartender Gabby. Meanwhile, Howey, 48, made a guest appearance on Happy\u2019s Place<\/em> as Gabby\u2019s rich friend.
