Bad Company<\/strong>\u00a0was just inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame \u2014 but lead singer\u00a0Paul Rodgers<\/strong>\u00a0did not attend the ceremony or perform with the group.<\/p>\n On Monday, Nov. 3, Rodgers announced he would be missing the ceremony due to unspecified health issues.<\/p>\n \u201cMy hope was to be at the Rock & Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony and to perform for the fans, but at this time I have to prioritize my health,\u201d he said in a statement.\u00a0\u201cI have no problem singing, it\u2019s the stress of everything else. Thanks for understanding. Simon [Kirke] along with some outstanding musicians will be stepping in for me \u2014 guaranteed to rock.\u201d<\/p>\n Though Rodgers could not be in attendance, his bandmate Simon Kirke<\/strong> was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Mick Fleetwood<\/strong>.
