I work really hard, OK? I\u2019m not pretending that I don\u2019t,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m up at 4:30 [a.m.] on Mondays. I go for a run. It\u2019s only 30 minutes. I try to eat very clean, but I eat. I\u2019m one of those protein mommies. I eat so much protein all day long. It works for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cFinal Destination\u201d actress plays Angela Norris on the hit Paramount+ show, the ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton\u2019s character, who is often portrayed as confident and attractive.<\/p>\n<p>She explained that, in addition to running, she also does \u201ca lot of strength training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the end, anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, it\u2019s really difficult,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen I look around, the sexiest women I know are the women that own it. So, part of getting there with Angela is owning it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Larter stunned fans when she posted a mirror selfie of her in her trailer\u00a0wearing a red bikini\u00a0while filming season two of \u201cLandman.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ali Larter poses in a red bikini for a mirror selfie. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/alilarter<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The 49-year-old actress spoke about how she stays in shape for her role in \u201cLandman.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Todd Williamson\/January Images\/Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the caption, she opened up about how \u201cplaying a character that is so comfortable in her body drives me,\u201d sharing that she had recently filmed a bikini scene for the show and then shared how she preps for those scenes.<\/p>\n<p>Her prep included waking up at 5:30 in the morning and\u00a0drinking celery juice and coffee, as well as a workout, after which she would \u201cdunk my face in ice water, slather with oil cause of my spray tan\u201d and leave for work by 7 in the morning.<\/p>\n<p>Later on in her interview with People, she said \u201cthere is no space in my mind for insecurity\u201d when playing Angela.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t be able to do it if I allowed insecurity to creep in,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I really do believe, sexiness \u2014 yeah, she\u2019s sexy on the outside, but guess what? She\u2019s owning it on the inside, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Larter\u2019s prep included waking up at 5:30 in the morning and\u00a0drinking celery juice and coffee, as well as a workout. <span class=\"credit\">Jordan Strauss\/Invision\/AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When she isn\u2019t busy filming, Larter told People she is sleeping in and spending time with her family.<\/p>\n<p>She previously spoke with Fox News Digital in November 2024 about her decision to move her family out of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/19\/entertainment\/landman-star-ali-larter-uprooted-family-to-idaho-from-la-for-simpler-life\/\">Los Angeles for a \u201csimpler life\u201d in Idaho.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think Hayes [MacArthur] and I ever thought that we would be\u00a0able to leave Hollywood\u00a0and then, after the pandemic, you know, it really shook up our town and a lot of the work has moved anyway,\u201d she said. \u201cSo, my husband\u2019s shooting \u2018The Runarounds\u2019 in Wilmington, and I\u2019m in Fort Worth doing \u2018Landman,\u2019 and we wouldn\u2019t be in LA anyway.
