Beyonce\u0301 and husband Jay-Z are reportedly preparing to purchase a stunning rural estate in the Cotswolds, adding their names to an expanding roster of American A-listers acquiring properties in the British countryside.<\/p>\n

The power couple is allegedly in the final stages of acquiring 58 acres of land near Wigginton<\/a>, where blueprints have already received approval for constructing a “spectacular rural estate.”<\/p>\n

Should the transaction be completed, the duo would be mere minutes away from Great Tew, the Oxfordshire hamlet that has long attracted celebrities, including David<\/a> and Victoria Beckham.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, not all residents in the vicinity are extending a warm welcome. Gerry Barrago, 77, who resides near the now-shuttered White Swan Inn, dismissed the news, “I don’t give a flying toss.”<\/p>\n

He mentioned that his wife frequently observes the pair in their vintage Range Rovers at Burford Garden Centre.<\/p>\n

“When someone points them out to my wife, her first reaction is to ask who they are. Some of these so-called celebrities I’ve never actually heard of.”, reports the Express.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
