SNL <\/strong>star Leslie Jones<\/strong> recently reminisced about her first major flop during her tenure on Saturday Night Live<\/strong>, when one of her sketches failed to land. She initially assumed that the audience did not laugh because she \u201cfroze\u201d in the middle of her performance. However, host Jesse David Fox later explained to her that it was because no one understood the joke. On that occasion, she shared the stage with Chris Rock.<\/p>\n Leslie Jones recently recalled her first major sketch on SNL<\/a> during a recent appearance on Vulture\u2019s\u00a0Good One\u00a0podcast<\/a>. There, she described how she struggled while performing a sketch called \u201cThe Arguing Couple\u201d with Chris Rock.<\/p>\n Jones explained on the podcast, \u201cSo the joke was that we\u2019ve been with each other so long that we just been arguing, but we love each other.\u201d She continued, \u201cBut we\u2019re driving our kid crazy with how we argue, you know what I\u2019m saying?\u201d<\/p>\n At that time, Jones was struggling with the sketch as she had not yet figured out the logistics of performing live. \u201cI didn\u2019t understand the color of the pens. So I didn\u2019t know that the host is always black\u2026 and then I had blue.
