(Disney\/Frank Micelotta)<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>Teddy Swims<\/strong> helped pay tribute to the late <strong>Joe Cocker<\/strong> at Saturday\u2019s Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Swims was part of the all-star performance celebrating Cocker\u2019s music, adding his vocals to the late rocker\u2019s classic cover of <strong>Dave Mason<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cFeelin\u2019 Alright.\u201d He also\u00a0took part\u00a0in the closing jam featuring <strong>Tedeschi Trucks Band<\/strong>, <strong>Bryan Adams<\/strong>, Rock Hall inductee <strong>Cyndi Lauper<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>The Black Crowes<\/strong>\u2019 <strong>Chris Robinson<\/strong> on Cocker\u2019s version of <strong>The Beatles<\/strong>\u2019 classic \u201cWith A Little Help From My Friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On the\u00a0Rock Hall red carpet, Swims told ABC Audio that Cocker had a \u201chuge influence\u201d on him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAs\u00a0somebody that\u2019s come up doing covers on YouTube and started my career that way, as somebody who made so many covers famous, you know, I think I so much love him, and who he is and everything he stood for coming up,\u201d\u00a0Swims said. \u201cHe\u2019s been such an influence of mine and I guess [in] a way I\u2019ve even modeled my own career after.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He added, \u201cI just hope that they call me the fat Joe Cocker one day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Highlights from the 2025 Rock Hall induction ceremony will air Jan. 1 on ABC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright \u00a9 2025, ABC Audio.
