The series, which is not not<\/em> inspired by Sennott’s viral video about movies set in LA<\/a>, follows an aspiring talent agent named Maia and her group of friends who are in the industry, but not necessarily in the traditional Hollywood sense. That’s been<\/em> done<\/em>, you guys! Think content creator more than moviemaker.<\/p>\n Some of the other faces you’ll see in the first season of this new series include (emphasis on some<\/em> and include<\/em>) Teen Wolf<\/em> and Cruel Summer <\/em>alum Froy Gutierrez, Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/em> villainess and The Queen’s Gambit<\/em> actor (and Emmy nominee, NBD) Moses Ingram, as well as The Lord of the Rings<\/em> trilogy star Elijah Wood. We can’t spoil too much about their characters, but if you’re loving the show so far you’re going to love them. As for the core performers who make up I Love LA<\/em> cast, however, here are the it girls and guys that you need to know.<\/p>\n Maia is moving up at a talent agency in LA, after relocating from NYC, when a complicated old friend comes back into her life and threatens to either dismantle everything she has built on the West Coast or<\/em> take it to the next level.<\/p>\n Sennott had kind of an iconic run with Shiva Baby, Bodies Bodies Bodies, <\/em>and Bottoms<\/em> almost back-to-back-to-back. The latter she also co-wrote with director Emma Seligman, who also wrote and directed Shiva Baby<\/em>. She represents Maia’s past and knows how to bring the chaos.<\/p>\n Prior to this show, A’zion had a recurring arc on Ghosts<\/em> and starred in Grand Army<\/em>. She’s in some horror movies, including Hellraiser<\/em> and Fresh Kills<\/em>, and the anticipated film Marty Supreme<\/em> with Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet. She was also one of the voices on The Tiny Chef<\/em> Show<\/em>!? Hello?! His life is, arguably, more shook by Tallulah’s appearance.<\/p>\n Most famous for bringing Peeta Mellark to life in the Hunger Games<\/em> series, Hutcherson is a former child actor with credits including Bridge to Terabithia, Little Manhattan, The Kids are Alright, <\/em>and more recently the Five Nights at Freddy’s <\/em>movies. Her dad is a famous actor, so she’s had an unconventional upbringing.<\/p>\n While she’s definitely not playing herself on the show, IRL Whitaker is the daughter of famous actor Forest Whitaker. But what often struck me about that show and her performance was that, while it was a teen drama and Blair could be brutal, she was also very funny.
