Josh Groban has lifted the lid on what it was really like to work with Miss Piggy<\/a>, following news that she\u2019s set to star in her own movie<\/a> for the first time in her 50-year career.<\/p>\n The five-time Grammy, Tony and Emmy-nominated star \u2014 who has sold more than 35 million records worldwide \u2014 appeared in Muppets Most Wanted (2014) and ABC\u2019s The Muppets<\/a> (2015) \u2014 found himself caught in an on-screen love triangle with the famous hog and her on-off beau Kermit the Frog, in scenes that even required an intimacy coordinator.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually have had quite a lot of scenes with Miss Piggy,\u201d he told The Standard. \u201cThe Muppet show that they had on ABC, they wrote a story where Miss Piggy started to date me to make Kermit jealous.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be in a love triangle with Kermit and Miss Piggy was probably one of the most intimidating acting experiences I\u2019ve ever had.<\/p>\n Josh Groban found himself in love triangle with Miss Piggy (pictured) and her on-off beau Kermit the Frog (ABC)<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m one of very few humans who\u2019s actually kissed Miss Piggy \u2014 and there was a lot of intimacy coordinating that had to go on to do that,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n Groban \u2014 who recently announced he wll play his biggest UK show to-date at the London O2 on April 1 \u2014 said he has been a lifelong fan of Jim Henson\u2019s creations and found himself \u201csuper star-struck\u201d in their presence.<\/p>\n \u201cWorking with them, and with the puppeteers \u2014 who are such artists and really make them come to life \u2014 is always so fun.<\/p>\n \u201cI grew up watching The Muppets and I grew up watching The Muppet Christmas Carol. All of The Muppets\u2019 movies \u2014 Muppets Take Manhattan \u2014 were favourites of mine from a very young age. So I am super star-struck when I get to work with them.\u201d<\/p>\n He has also previously joked about the glamorous swine, telling the celebrity.land: \u201cShe was definitely the biggest diva I\u2019ve ever worked with. She had her way with me and moved on, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n Now Miss Piggy is heading back into the spotlight for real, with Jennifer Lawrence<\/a> and Emma Stone<\/a> set to co-produce a brand-new film centred on the iconic character.<\/p>\n Lawrence revealed the project on the Las Culturistas podcast, saying:<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if I can announce this but I\u2019m just gonna. Emma Stone and I are producing a Miss Piggy movie.\u201d<\/p>\n She later told The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that the idea began during lockdown, and while she described Stone as the \u201cMuppet head\u201d of the duo, she dubbed herself \u201cthe ideas guy\u201d.
