Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actor Xochitl Gomez<\/strong> has joined the Blue Bloods spinoff as Penny. Her addition hints at a possible romantic storyline with Sean Reagan, sparking anticipation among fans.<\/p>\n Marvel star Xochitl Gomez is set to join the cast of CBS\u2019s Boston Blue in a recurring role.\u00a0 Known for her role as America Chavez in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the actress will appear as Penny, a sharp and charismatic young woman.<\/p>\n As per TV Line<\/a>, Penny is \u201ca quick-witted, charming young woman with a mysterious past who crashes into Sean\u2019s life.\u201d Her first appearance is slated for the episode airing on November 21 at 10 p.m. ET\/PT.<\/p>\n The series follows Donnie Wahlberg reprising his Blue Bloods role as Danny Reagan. He relocates from New York to Boston to take up a new position with the city\u2019s police department. There, he partners with Detective Lena Silver, played by Sonequa Martin-Green, the eldest daughter of a well-known law enforcement family. The cast also includes Maggie Lawson as Sarah Silver, Marcus Scribner as Jonah Silver, Gloria Reuben as Mae Silver, and Ernie Hudson as Reverend Peters.<\/p>\n Boston Blue expands the well-known Blue Bloods universe after its fourteen-season run.
