Paresh Rawal\u2019s latest courtroom drama, The Taj Story, <\/a>opened to abysmal reviews from users and critics, but it somehow managed to survive its first week.\n<\/p>\n

Apart from many users, a Congress functionary also called The Taj Story a propaganda and also mocked the box office collection of the film.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The controversy began when the Congress member reacted to a box office update on November 10, commenting in Hindi, “Now, get Modi Ji to watch the screening as well\u2026 Paresh Ji, the film won\u2019t run without propaganda. The movie would have earned more without your acting. It\u2019s unfortunate; you used to be such a great actor.”\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Taj Story\u2019s Collection
\n<\/h2>\n

As per Sacnilk, The Taj Story began its theatrical journey with \u20b91 crore on its opening Friday. The film showed decent traction over the weekend, collecting \u20b92 crore on Saturday and \u20b92.75 crore on Sunday, taking its three-day total to \u20b95.75 crore.\n<\/p>\n

The reported budget of The Taj Story is \u20b925 crore.\n<\/p>\n

During the weekdays, the business dipped slightly compared to the weekend spike. The Paresh Rawal starrer collected \u20b91.15 crore on Monday, followed by \u20b91.6 crore each on Tuesday and Wednesday and \u20b90.9 crore on Thursday. Despite the slowdown, the movie managed to stay consistent enough to finish its first week with an estimated total of \u20b911 crore at the domestic box office.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
