Still, it&#8217;s clear from the beginning that &#8220;Pluribus&#8221; plays by very different rules than Gilligan&#8217;s most famous work. Since fandoms aren&#8217;t exactly famous for supporting major changes, my strong suspicion is that at least some percentage of people who hoped that Gilligan would deliver yet another story of people breaking bad as they start associating with criminal circles. If so, they&#8217;re in for a disappointment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">That being said, I&#8217;d also wager that in the long run, &#8220;Pluribus&#8221;\u00a0will turn out to be the exact show that Gilligan, Seehorn, and their fans\u00a0<em>need\u00a0<\/em>at this exact moment in time. The show&#8217;s creator and star get the opportunity to flaunt different sides of their skill set and attract fans who wouldn&#8217;t necessarily watch a show like &#8220;Better Call Saul,&#8221; but love clever genre fare.
