Nicole Kidman<\/a> has joined the cast of \u201cThe Young People<\/a>,\u201d the latest feature film from prolific and fast-rising horror hitmaker Osgood Perkins<\/a> and his fourth with Neon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kidman adds some Oscar-winning prestige to an already buzzy cast, which is being led by Lola Tung<\/a> (\u201cThe Summer I Turned Pretty<\/a>\u201d) and Nico Parker<\/a> (\u201cHow to Train Your Dragon\u201d) alongside an ensemble including Brendan Hines<\/a> (\u201cThe Tick<\/a>\u201d), Cush Jumbo<\/a> (\u201cThe Good Wife<\/a>\u201d), Heather Graham<\/a> (\u201cDrugstore Cowboy<\/a>\u201d), Johnny Knoxville<\/a> (\u201cJackass<\/a>\u201d), Lexi Minetree<\/a> (\u201cElle<\/a>\u201d), Lily Collias<\/a> (\u201cGood One<\/a>\u201d) and Tatiana Maslany<\/a> (\u201cOrphan Black\u201d).<\/p>\n

Neon will release \u201cThe Young People<\/a>\u201d theatrically in the U.S. and is representing the international sales rights on the film, as well as co-financing with Lyrical Media<\/a>. Producers include Perkins<\/a> and his partner Chris Ferguson<\/a> for their production company Phobos<\/a> and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones<\/a> for Range. Plot details are currently under wraps.<\/p>\n
