\n\tLatin music executive Jochy Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> has launched a new independent agency, Joch Entertainment, he tells Billboard<\/em>. Rodr\u00edguez \u2014 who has spent the past nine years as senior vp of promotions and marketing at WK Entertainment \u2014 will focus the company\u2019s efforts on marketing, management, consulting and radio promotions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis new chapter represents both gratitude and growth,\u201d said Rodr\u00edguez in a statement. \u201cAfter nearly a decade working alongside WK Entertainment, I\u2019m proud to continue collaborating with a team that feels like family, while expanding my vision through Joch Entertainment to empower artists and brands with the same passion that has guided my entire career.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith more than 25 years of experience in the music industry, Rodr\u00edguez has played a pivotal role in advancing the careers of major Latin music stars, including Maluma<\/a>, Carlos Vives<\/a>, Wisin<\/a>, Prince Royce<\/a> and Emilia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThroughout his career, Rodr\u00edguez has held leadership positions at Univision, Universal Music Latino, Machete Music and Capitol Latin, and been instrumental in developing promotional and marketing strategies that elevated the global presence of artists including Enrique Iglesias<\/a>, J Balvin<\/a>, Karol G<\/a>, Don Omar<\/a> and Juanes<\/a>. He has also worked closely with Wisin\u2019s La Base and WK Records, where he remains a key partner.<\/p>\n
