M\u00e5neskin<\/strong> guitarist Thomas Raggi<\/strong> has announced his debut solo album,\u00a0Masquerade<\/em>.<\/p>\n The record, due out Dec. 5, was produced by Rage Against the Machine<\/strong>‘s Tom Morello<\/strong>, who previously worked with\u00a0M\u00e5neskin on the song “GOSSIP.” It also includes collaborations with Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong> drummer Chad Smith<\/strong>, Luke Spiller<\/strong> of The Struts<\/strong>, Franz Ferdinand<\/strong>‘s\u00a0Alex Kapranos<\/strong>, ex-Guns N’ Roses<\/strong> drummer Matt Sorum<\/strong>, Jet<\/strong>‘s Nic Cester<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sergio Pizzorno<\/strong> of Kasabian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “Seeing so many musical icons come together (along with the ones I had the pleasure of meeting while writing the album)\u00a0 reminded me that music knows no boundaries; that you have to follow your instinct and inspiration, ignore imposed rules, and simply do what you feel,” Raggi says in a press statement<\/span>. “The M\u00e5neskin story teaches me that, and now I had the ultimate confirmation. I feel as if those who made music history are placing a hand on my shoulder, saying: ‘You’re on the right path.'”<\/p>\n Raggi’s\u00a0M\u00e5neskin bandmates Damiano David<\/strong> and Victoria De Angelis<\/strong> have also released solo material.
