Smallville<\/em><\/a> alum Allison Mack<\/strong><\/a> has revealed the identity of her new husband more than two years following her prison release.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in June that Mack, 43, had gotten married<\/a> in an \u201cintimate\u201d backyard wedding. Photos released at the time showed that they tied the knot underneath a traditional Jewish chuppah, but other details about her husband were not revealed \u2014 until now.<\/p>\n

Mack was \u201cwalking her dog\u201d in February 2024 when she met Frank Meeink<\/strong>, who was described as \u201can attractive, heavily tattooed guy in his late 40s with slick back hair,\u201d in the seventh episode of the \u201cAllison After NXIVM\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The podcast host, journalist Natalie Robehmed<\/strong>, describes Meeink, 50, as a \u201crenowned former neo-Nazi\u201d who has been in and out of the prison system since he was 17. He was arrested for kidnapping and almost killing a man. When Meeink was in prison, he started to deradicalize his beliefs and \u201cleft the white supremacist movement\u201d in the 1990s after he was released.<\/p>\n

The podcast, which includes new interviews with Mack and Meeink, reveals that Meeink now \u201cworks at a nonprofit with unhoused people\u201d and connects them to resources.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe does public speaking and civil rights activism on the side, even testifying in front of a house subcommittee in 2020 on white supremacy in policing,\u201d Robehmed revealed. \u201cIn some ways, Frank is a poster boy for changing your mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Meeink first met Mack, he invited her to the restaurant that he worked at.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a waiter at a Thai restaurant up the street, like a local neighborhood place,\u201d Mack said. She went into the restaurant days later with her mom, Mindy.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had told the whole staff that I was going to be coming in sometime this week, and to call him boss because he wanted them to make it look like he was more important in the restaurant than he was,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

Meeink told them that he was a public speaker, focusing on \u201ctolerance and de-radicalization and police reform.\u201d He and Mack immediately connected because she is \u201creally passionate about prison reform.\u201d<\/p>\n

After they went on their first date, Mack told Meeink \u201ceverything\u201d about her experience in NXIVM. Mack asked Meeink if he judged her because of her past.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just looked at her and said, you know, I\u2019m a former neo-Nazi who used to kidnap people,\u201d Meeink recalled. \u201cDo you think I have any room to judge you? \u2026 No, I don\u2019t judge you at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
