\u201cWeird Al\u201d Yankovic<\/a>, actor and SNL alum Will Forte, and Ted Lasso<\/a> stars Cristo Fern\u00e1ndez and Brendan Hunt helped Jason Sudeikis raise $1.1 million at the ninth annual THUNDERGONG! charity concert by performing two monster Billboard Hot 100<\/a> hits. And we\u2019ve got videos.<\/p>\n Sudeikis and his longtime friend Billy Brimblecom, the executive director of the Steps of Faith Foundation, produced the concert, which took place at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri, on Nov. 8 and supported the nonprofit\u2019s mission to provide prosthetic car and comfort to amputees needing financial support.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n Yankovic and Forte performed Chappell Roan\u2019<\/a>s \u201cPink Pony Club<\/a>\u201d \u2014 which topped Billboard\u2018s Pop Airplay<\/a> chart and hit No. 5 on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n Weird Al and Forte were then joined by Fern\u00e1ndez, who played Dani Rojas on Ted Lasso, and Brendan Hunt, who co-created the hit Apple TV+ series and starred as Coach Beard, to put their own spin on \u201cSoda Pop,<\/a>\u201d Saja Boys\u2019 big number in the Netflix animated hit KPop Demon Hunters<\/a>. That tune also reached No. 5 on the Hot 100.<\/p>\n Music artists Waxahatchee<\/a>, Kevin Morby and actor\/comedian Sam Richardson also took part.<\/p>\n Jason Sudeikis performing onstage during Thundergong! 2025 at the Uptown Theatre on November 8, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri.<\/p>\n Sudeikis and Brimblecom founded THUNDERGONG! in 2017, and the event has since produced a number of viral videos.
