DENVER (KDVR<\/a>) \u2014 The popular rock band Sublime is celebrating 30 years of their self-titled album with a historic performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in the coming spring.<\/p>\n The band announced Monday that it will set history at Red Rocks on April 17, 2026, performing the self-titled album in its entirety for the first time ever.<\/p>\n Red Rocks geology: How the world\u2019s only acoustically perfect natural amphitheater was formed <\/a><\/p>\n The next night, the band will have another show featuring the band\u2019s greatest hits over their decades-long career, like \u201cWhat I Got,\u201d \u201cSanteria,\u201d and \u201cWrong Way.\u201d There will also be \u201cvery special guests and plenty of surprises,\u201d according to the band\u2019s post on Instagram.<\/p>\n The shows will happen amid the band\u2019s ongoing 2026-26 tour, during which they have performed at large music festivals and venues across the world.<\/p>\n Sublime has performed at Red Rocks<\/a> multiple times, and the band members say it is one of their favorite places to perform in the world.<\/p>\n \u201cRed Rocks is absolutely my favorite place to play in the world. The sound is amazing and I can\u2019t wait to get back there and share this special event with everyone,\u201d bassist Eric Wilson said in a press release.<\/p>\n Drummer Bud Gaugh describes the venue as \u201cone of the world\u2019s most spiritual places\u201d where you can feel the power generated by the Earth.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t think of a better place to play, for the first time, the Sublime self-titled album from cover to cover, than Red Rocks! One of our most magnificent albums on one of the most magical stages if not THE most magical stage in the world!!!\u201d Gaugh said in a release.<\/p>\n Flipturn band explains why Red Rocks is a \u2018dream venue\u2019 for artists <\/a><\/p>\n Tickets can be purchased online<\/a> and are set to go on sale to the general public on Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. Presale is set for Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. Fans can sign up for presale access online here<\/a>.<\/p>\n In 2026, the band is also planning to release their first original Sublime album in 30 years, titled \u201cTill The Sun Explodes.\u201d Their most recent release of the single \u201cEnsenada\u201d spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, the longest run at No. 1 on alternative radio for the year 2025.<\/p>\n The band said that the new album marks an exciting new chapter while honoring the band\u2019s legacy.<\/p>\n Sublime is one of many artists who have announced show dates at Red Rocks for 2026 so far.
