The Kansas City Royals<\/a> made a trade on Monday to add some intriguing talent to the organization.<\/p>\n The Royals agreed with a deal to send cash, or a player to be named later, to the Tampa Bay Rays<\/a> to acquire 27-year old outfielder Kameron Misner.<\/p>\n The Rays announced the deal<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n Misner made his MLB debut in 2024, playing eight games, before appearing in 71 games in 2025.<\/p>\n For Tampa Bay this past season, Misner hit .213 with five home runs and eight stolen bases.<\/p>\n He was originally a first-round pick by the Miami Marlins<\/a> in 2019 out of Mizzou at No. 35 overall.<\/p>\n Misner is 6-foot-4, 220 pounds and both throws and bats left-handed.<\/p>\n MORE:\u00a0<\/strong>The Dodgers have an $87 million free agency secret weapon<\/a><\/p>\n His best moment of the 2025 season came on Opening day.<\/p>\n That’s when Misner stepped to the plate with zero career big league homers and then hit one out in the bottom of the ninth in a tie game.<\/p>\n Misner slugged a walk-off solo home run for the Tampa Bay Rays to defeat the Colorado Rockies<\/a>, 3-2.
