Meghan Markle is going back to her roots, but one person thinks not all is as it seems.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old, who rose to fame starring as Rachel Zane in Suits<\/a>, shocked the world when she announced she’s making a return to acting<\/a><\/p>\n

While the Duchess of Sussex<\/a> retired from her acting career eight years ago, she has now joined the cast of the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film Close Personal Friends.<\/p>\n

It’s believed Meghan will be starring as herself in the movie and has already been at work, as she was spotted on set in Pasadena, California<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While fans are excited about her acting return, Grant Harrold, King Charles\u2019s former butler, has shared his belief that it stems from Meghan having a stark realization.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Grant, who worked as a butler for the royals for seven years, told Express US, “When Meghan first joined the Royal Family, the late Queen gave her blessing for her to continue acting, which was quite unusual. But Meghan decided against it and wanted to try her way of doing royal life, but it\u2019s all backfired a bit,” while speaking in collaboration with Action Network<\/a><\/p>\n

“I think she\u2019s realised that stepping away was a mistake and she\u2019s backtracking a bit. This is them eating humble pie a bit,” he wondered.<\/p>\n

“However, she\u2019s now got lots of other projects that she\u2019s working on – mainly her As Ever range – and I don\u2019t think she\u2019ll give that up to make acting her only venture. So I think any extra acting work will just be a bonus, rather than her full-time career going forward,” Grant then argued.<\/p>\n

“She\u2019s made clear her passion lies in the lifestyle world, and I think that\u2019s where her main focus will remain.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He also believes Meghan\u2019s move may be part of a bigger shift for Meghan and Harry, which could see the mom-of-two focusing on the celebrity world while Harry remains in a royal mindset.<\/p>\n

He explained this theory, “We\u2019re also seeing Harry continuing his tours solo, carrying out more traditional-styled \u2018royal\u2019 engagements focusing on causes he\u2019s passionate about.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s like they are both going back to their roots. It\u2019s like we\u2019re going back in time. It\u2019s like they\u2019re going back to the original plan. I wonder if that\u2019s what he\u2019s told his father in their latest meetings, that they were going to be taking this approach going forward – which I think the King will approve of, along with the rest of the Royal Family,” Grant concluded.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
