Bill Callahan<\/a> has announced a new album. My Days of 58<\/em> arrives February 27, 2026, and its first single, \u201cThe Man I\u2019m Supposed to Be,\u201d is out now. Listen to it below.<\/p>\n Callahan\u2019s last studio album was YTILAER<\/em><\/a>\u2014or YTI\u2143A\u018e\u042f<\/em>\u2014which he followed with the 2024 live album Resuscitate<\/em><\/a>. The band that played on that record remains in place on My Days of 58<\/em>: guitarist Matt Kinsey, tenor saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi, and drummer Jim White<\/a>. Those shows, says Callahan in press materials, showed \u201cthat they could handle anything I threw at them.\u201d He adds: \u201cImprov\/unpredictability\/the unknown is the thing that keeps me motivated to keep making music. It\u2019s all about listening to yourself and others.
