Megan Moroney\u00a0<\/strong>will release her new album,\u00a0Cloud 9<\/em>, on Feb. 20 via Sony Music Nashville\/Columbia Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of\u00a0Cloud 9<\/i>\u00a0together,\u201d shares Moroney. \u201cSimilar to the first two albums, it\u2019s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I\u2019ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love.\u00a0Cloud 9\u00a0<\/i>is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first taste of the new era was shared Sunday night (Nov. 9) with a teaser video for the album.<\/p>\n

The new project will deliver 15 tracks, and will include already released tunes \u201c6 Months Later\u201d and \u201cBeautiful Things,\u201d as well as the title track.<\/p>\n

Moroney is up for six awards at next week\u2019s CMA Awards<\/a>, tied for the most nominations on the night. Her nominations include Single of the Year for \u201cAm I Okay?,\u201d Song of the Year for \u201cAm I Okay?,\u201d Album of the Year for Am I Okay?,<\/em> Female Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year for her collaboration with Kenny Chesney on \u201cYou Had To Be There,\u201d and Music Video of the Year for \u201cAm I Okay?\u201d<\/p>\n
