SXSW has unveiled the first wave of artists performing at the historic 40th music festival taking place March 12 through 18 in Austin, Texas, next year. The 100 groundbreaking acts announced on Tuesday include Grammy-nominated rapper and Tully founder Joyner Lucas, experimental producer DJ_Dave, and Indonesian trio Grrrl Gang. Brighton\u2019s Milo Korbenski, La Texana from Mexico City, Hudson Freeman out of Brooklyn, Austin\u2019s Bayonne, and Indian-American rapper KOAD are also among the artists confirmed to appear at SXSW 2026.<\/p>\n

In March, Rolling Stone\u2019s\u00a0Future of Music\u00a0Showcase<\/a> took over Austin\u2019s famed ACL Live at the Moody Theater. For four nights, fans packed into the 2,750-capacity venue to see Benson Boone, Megan Moroney, Ivan Cornejo, and Rema, along with other musicians from around the world. The event aligned with\u00a0Rolling Stone\u2019s annual\u00a0Future of Music issue<\/a>, and the\u00a0Future 25<\/a> list, which featured many of the artists who played the showcase.<\/p>\n Additional SXSW presenters returning include Billboard, NPR Music Stations, Los Angeles Times\u2019 De Los, BMG, College of Hip Hop Knowledge, BBC Introducing, British Music Embassy, and The Line of Best Fit.
