bars.<\/p>\n<p>The disgraced rapper, 56, is enrolled in an intensive drug treatment program and working in the chapel at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey, according to<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/sean-diddy-combs-prison-chapel-drug-rehab-phone-call\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> CBS News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents obtained by the outlet revealed that Combs has been assigned to the Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program (RDAP) unit, which is the Federal Bureau of Prisons\u2019 most intensive drug the Bureau of Prisons\u2019 drug treatment program can reduce a prison sentence by up to one year, CBS News reported.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Combs\u2019 publicist, Juda Engelmayer, claimed that the Bad Boy Records founder \u201chas taken his rehabilitation process seriously\u201d since he first reported to prison.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change,\u201d Engelmayer told CBS News.<\/p>\n<figure 50-month prison sentence at New Jersey\u2019s FCI Fort Dix because of the low-security prison\u2019s drug treatment and rehabilitation program.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/10\/30\/us-news\/sean-diddy-combs-transfered-to-njs-fort-dix-to-start-sentence-for-federal-sex-crimes\/\">He moved to the facility<\/a> in the Garden State from Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn last month.<\/p>\n<p>Combs is also\u00a0working as a chaplain\u2019s assistant, considered one of the more desirable assignments at the Fort Dix prison, according to CBS News.<\/p>\n<p>A former prison commissioner\u00a0told the outlet that inmates typically maintain the chaplain\u2019s religious library, clean their office and help with some record-keeping.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The chaplain\u2019s assistant also reportedly gets to work in a private office, typically with air conditioning, and can have some of the food that the chaplains bring in for religious services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding,\u201d Engelmayer told CBS News.<\/p>\n<figure <\/p>\n<p>CBS News also reported that he allegedly got in trouble for participating in a prohibited three-way phone call on Nov. 3, just four days after he was transferred to the facility.<\/p>\n<p>Combs reportedly called an unnamed woman to discuss arranging visitors for the weekend and suggested they bring \u201c200 singles\u201d \u2014 despite prison regulations banning visitors from bringing in currency other than coins for the vending machines.<\/p>\n<p>The music mogul also allegedly said he needed to speak with someone described as \u201cthe digital person\u201d regarding blogs, and when the woman asked if he should add that person to the call, Combs replied, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Combs later claimed to officials that he was speaking to his attorney and she added the head of legal communications to the call so they could work on a statement for The New York Times.
