Of course, that \u201cindefinite\u201d suspension only ended up lasting six days following mass public outcry, and the return of Jimmy Kimmel Live! <\/i>led to the biggest ratings bump of Kimmel\u2019s late-night career.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Throughout the controversy, all the power players who conspired briefly kick Kimmel off television faced fierce public criticism over their wanton disregard for the First Amendment, even from a certain rebel pilot who isn’t exactly known for playing by the rules.<\/span><\/p>\n
