As Dancing With the Stars<\/a><\/em> celebrates its 20th anniversary<\/a>, Robert Irwin<\/a> is taking a look back at his history with the ABC competition series.<\/p>\n As many fans know, Robert\u2019s sister, Bindi Irwin<\/a>, famously won Season 21 of DWTS<\/em> with Derek Hough<\/a> in 2015. Ten years later, Robert is now hoping to take home the Season 34 mirrorball with his pro partner, Witney Carson<\/a>. Ahead of the show\u2019s 20th Birthday Party episode on Tuesday, November 11, Robert posted some sweet throwback photos of himself cheering on Bindi in the DWTS<\/em> ballroom via his Instagram Story.<\/p>\n \u201cBaby Robert cheering on @bindisueirwin in the crowd!\u201d he wrote alongside an episode screengrab of himself in the DWTS<\/em> Season 21 audience with his mother, Terri Irwin<\/a>, and Bindi\u2019s now-husband, Chandler Powell<\/a>.<\/p>\n In another Instagram Story upload, Robert shared an adorable photo of himself posing behind the DWTS<\/em> judges\u2019 desk. \u201cI can\u2019t believe I\u2019m here competing,\u201d he captioned the snap.<\/p>\n Chandler Powell, Terri Irwin, and Robert Irwin circa 2015 via Robert Irwin’s Instagram Story, November 11, 2025.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Courtesy of Robert Irwin\/Instagram<\/p>\n Robert opened up about what competing on the show means to him in a Tuesday Instagram Story video. \u201cThis show has meant so much to us for so many years, as it has with the whole country and around the world,\u201d he told his followers. \u201cSo, I\u2019m very excited to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n Robert will perform two dances during Tuesday night\u2019s episode, including a Foxtrot to \u201cFootprints in the Sand\u201d by Leona Lewis<\/a>. \u201cTonight, my foxtrot dance is inspired by my sister and it\u2019s in memory of my dad,\u201d Robert said of the dance in a Tuesday Instagram<\/a> post. \u201cMy family is everything to me, and I can\u2019t wait for this special night<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n .\u201d<\/p>\n The post featured a clip of Steve Irwin<\/a> taking Bindi to visit Robert in the hospital after his birth in 2003. \u201cLove you so much, Brian.<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n ,\u201d Bindi commented underneath the post, referring to how her younger self referred to Robert by the name Brian.<\/p>\n Robert also shared an Instagram<\/a> photo of Steve holding him as a newborn, writing, \u201cThis one\u2019s for you, dad. It\u2019s going to be a special night on @dancingwiththestars<\/p>\n \u2764<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n .\u201d<\/p>\n Last week, Bindi and her 4-year-old daughter, Grace, visited Robert and Carson during rehearsals. \u201cCelebrating 20 years of @dancingwiththestars. So incredibly special to bring Grace to the rehearsal studio,\u201d she captioned a sweet Instagram<\/a> group photo. \u201cHer favourite part? \u2018Dance Class\u2019 with Witney and Uncle Robert.<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n My. Heart.\u201d<\/p>\n Robert shared footage of himself and Carson teaching Grace a dance during the rehearsal via Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, writing, \u201cI love when Grace stops by rehearsals and we can teach her some new dance moves. I\u2019m so lucky to be her uncle.
