But fans think another country star, Mary Chapin Carpenter<\/strong>,<\/a> is underrated and belongs in that same iconic category.<\/p>\n Recently on tour in support of her 2025 release Personal History<\/a>, Mary Chapin Carpenter took the stage at Nashville\u2019s iconic Ryman Auditorium<\/a>. Playing new songs and selections from her vast catalog of hits, Carpenter\u2019s performance of her 1992 single \u201cI Feel Lucky\u201d had fans singing her praises.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s Shania. There\u2019s Faith. There\u2019s Reba. There\u2019s Trisha. But there\u2019s only one Mary Chapin Carpenter,\u201d a fan captioned a video of the 67-year-old singer-songwriter performing \u201cI Feel Lucky,\u201d which appeared on her 1992 multi-platinum album Come On Come On.
