\n Things are heating up again in Utah.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/a>\u201d is returning for its third season, which unfolds in some different locations (no spoilers here) but lacks absolutely no drama as the women try to balance personal relationships, work opportunities and the unique dynamics of being reality stars.\n <\/p>\n

\n The series began in 2024 thanks to Taylor Frankie Paul, who found scandal in 2022, when she announced via TikTok that she was getting divorced after she said she violated the terms of her open marriage. She also shared that she and her now ex-husband Tate had participated in \u201csoft swinging\u201d with other couples in their Utah community, which involved trading sexual partners in their social circle.\n <\/p>\n

\n Paul is credited with forming \u201cMomTok\u201d by pulling together a group of fellow Mormon mothers on TikTok. Many of the members have millions of followers, sharing glimpses into their lives for lucrative sponsorships.\n <\/p>\n

\n The first season of \u201cMormon Wives\u201d last year focused on the fallout from Paul\u2019s scandalous revelation, as well as her subsequent pregnancy with boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, with whom she became involved while married.\n <\/p>\n

\n Fast forward Season 3, and lots has changed as viewers witnessed the toxicity between Paul and Mortensen over the past two seasons and the recent announcement that she is the next Bachelorette.<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

\n Paul\u2019s fellow cast members Layla Taylor and Miranda McWhorter offered support in her attempt to find love on another reality show.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI think Taylor deserves to find an actual pure example of love in somebody that respects her in and out of the room that she\u2019s in,\u201d Taylor said. \u201cI feel like Taylor\u2019s (Frankie Paul) just deserving of that. So we\u2019re excited. We\u2019re so excited.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n McWhorter agreed, which means something as she and her now ex-husband Chase were a big part of the \u201csoft swinging\u201d scandal that kicked the show off. She told celebrity.land, \u201cYou gotta be okay with whatever skeletons you got in that closet coming out.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cYou have to authentic and open and real about everything. I think the more reserved you are this might not be for you. And it\u2019s hard,\u201d McWhorter said. \u201cThis is a hard world to be in. You have people that are judging you off of how you handle situations, off of how you operate. And it\u2019s hard because people are only seeing such small glimpses into who you are as a person.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n New \u201cBachelorette\u201d Paul is not the only one who has gotten a reality crossover.\n <\/p>\n

\n Cast members Jennifer Affleck and Whitney Leavitt were selected to compete on the most recent season of \u201cDancing With the Stars.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Affleck spoke with celebrity.land soon after she was eliminated from the dance competition.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cIt\u2019s definitely a different vibe and it\u2019s a different hard because with the \u2018Secret Lives\u2019 it can be very draining in the sense that there\u2019s a lot of drama and it\u2019s uncomfortable in that sense,\u201d Affleck said. \u201cBut \u2018Dancing With the Stars\u2019 is uncomfortable in the sense that it\u2019s not only mentally demanding, but also it\u2019s very physical.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n She said she loved how positive \u201cDWTS\u201d was because \u201ceveryone tries to stray away from drama and that was kind of nice for me to be able to be on a reality TV show that doesn\u2019t fixate on drama.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Season 3 also includes the heightened drama of finding out what really happened regarding allegations of Jessi Ngatikaura being unfaithful to her husband and the unraveling of her and some of the other women\u2019s relationship with Demi Engemann, who has had tension with more than a few of them.\n <\/p>\n

\n Ngatikaura admitted to having \u201call the emotions\u201d about her personal life playing out on air.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019m nervous clearly, because it\u2019s a big story to share and I have no idea what the opinions will be,\u201d she told celebrity.land. \u201cBut I\u2019m also relieved that it\u2019ll be out there because it\u2019s kind of been like a secret and no one\u2019s known my dynamic and what happened in my relationship.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cSo at least it\u2019ll be out there and I can talk about it openly, but I have no idea what the audience is going to feel,\u201d she added.\n <\/p>\n

\n Season 3 of \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d debuts Thursday on Hulu.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
