<\/a><\/p>\nNASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) \u2014 Three new stars have been added to the Music City Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
GRAMMY-winning songwriter Liz Rose, country legend Charley Pride, and reigning CMA and ACM Group of the Year Old Dominion were inducted Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The ceremony also included speeches from country music stars Vince Gill, Neal McCoy and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town to celebrate the honorees.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Charley Pride\u2019s wife, Rozene Pride, accepted posthumously on his behalf. Pride died on December\u00a012, 2020 at age 86 from complications due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pride was known for breaking color barriers as country music\u2019s first black superstar. The Grand Ole Opry member was even a three-time GRAMMY winner whose many hits included \u201cKiss An Angel Good Morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Liz Rose has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame. Rose has co-written 16 songs with Taylor Swift. \u201cWhite Horse\u201d won them a GRAMMY for Best Country Song in 2010. Rose won another Best Country Song GRAMMY in 2015 for Little Big Town\u2019s \u201cGirl Crush.\u201d<\/p>\n

Old Dominion has nine number one songs and released their sixth album Barbara<\/em> in August. They\u2019ve been named Group of the Year for the Academy of Country Music eight times, and Country Music Association seven times. They\u2019re nominated for this CMA award yet again this year.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
